One-off tonight in Pomona, CA.
For the first time in years—maybe ever—I’d actually wear every single shirt and hoodie we’re selling. Whoa.

Did I ever mention being a girl in this industry is tough? It can also be VERY annoying. Start getting that tough skin! And never give up!

I’m not sure how I found Linda’s blog, but if you’re interested in a blog about someone’s experience in working their way up in the music industry and what they’ve learned so far, check her out. Some of her blogs are standard posts about working at labels, interning, books and band suggestions, etcetera. But one that stood out to me, and the reason I started paying attention to her blog without having ever met or talked to her before, brought up the extremely basic, extremely important, and often overlooked, suggestion of “Always Say Please and Thank You”.

Plus, auto-reblog for the advice of ”Never give up.”

In Regina we ran out of shirts. Which meant I spent the next (rainy) afternoon in Winnipeg standing inside of the trailer spray-painting shirts and choking on the fumes with a couple of the guys. Blue hands aside, it was a fun break from the normal routine.
