Highly tempted to make watching every episode of every webseries on this list my plans for New Years Eve.

Recommended: Buffy & Once Upon A Time writer Jane Espenson’s Husbands the Series, Pretty the Series (Criminal Minds actress Kirsten Vangsness guest stars in Season 3), the sassy Bushwick, Brooklyn-based EastWillyB, The Key of Awesome’s Someone Like You parody (and all of their other parodies), and a Funny or Die video parody of Nurse Jackie called Nurse Jackée… starring Jackée Harry (Sister, Sister!).

One of the biggest talking points in music over the past few years has been how well the girls are doing. Since the rise of Lily, Amy, Florence and co, women have, we are told, been wiping the floor with men when it comes to making clever, catchy, too-cool-for-school pop music.

Putting aside…

A good read. Especially if you’re a female and interested in working on the road or at a record label. Many things that have been said before, a couple new interesting points.

This summer/fall was the first time I’ve ever done a tour where I wasn’t the only female working (festival tours a la Warped Tour don’t count). I know there’s fellow women out there though, at least when it comes to the bigger artists. Many of the events/shows I’ve worked on locally this year have had women on their production and talent staff, on all job levels.
